The year 1989 saw the foundation of Calcutta Springs Limited, which was to become the parent company of one of the largest groups in India, manufacturing for both domestic and export purposes. We are manufacturing a wide range of Castings i.e. Grey Iron Casting, Malleable and Ductile Iron Castings and Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron Castings (SGCI Castings) for exports. We also supply the complete range of track items to Indian railways. It is an ISO: 9001:2000 certified company. The emphasis is always on delivering products of the highest industry standards at the right time, right place and at the right competitive price. Over the years, the presence of well qualified and experienced team members and constant research work has enabled us to deliver high quality products at the right time and at competitive prices.

CSL has 3 state of the art facilities to manufacture the DI Castings, wherein we have an annual production capacity of 20000 MT per annum, and this is ever improving due to our zeal for expansion. We maintain high standards of quality, timely shipments and customer satisfaction.

Testing & Quality Control

There is continuous improvement in the manufacturing practices and timeline of delivery of our products. While maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 : 2000 standards as well as customer requirements.

We at Calcutta Springs believe in producing top quality castings, which undergo rigorous tests and checks. All our Testing is done 100% in house with all required testing facilities available.

Our Pipe Fittings (Caps, Plugs, Flanges, Bends, Tees, Reducers, MJ Fittings, etc.) are 100% hydraulically tested as per the relevant specifications. Our DI MCCs (Manhole covers, frames, valve boxes, gully grates, etc.) are load tested as per relevant specifications.

The organisation has sophisticated and state of art chemical, physical and microscopic laboratories to test and control the quality.

Melting: CE Cup, Dip Tip, Spectrometer

Pouring: Spectrometer and Microscope

Sand Testing: Sieve Shaker, Universal Sand Testing machine, Permeability Meter, Moisture Tester
